David Shamshovich, partner at Belkin Burden Goldman, LLP and Co-chair of the Tax Exemptions and Zoning Incentives practice, will moderate a panel at the Commercial Observer’s National Multifamily Investment Forum in New York City on June 18, 2025.
David will moderate, “Addressing Affordability & Workforce Housing Across the Map – Tax Incentives, Removing Barriers & the Role of Public-Private Partnerships,” which will cover the critical role of public-private partnerships in addressing affordability and workforce housing shortages, and the tax exemptions, zoning bonuses, land use reforms, and public subsidies that developers, investors, and financiers are leveraging to deliver housing at scale.
The Forum at large will cover the wider multifamily market, which is currently supported by occupancy and rent growth, decline in vacancies, and economic tailwinds. Panels throughout the course of the Forum (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST) will explore the complexities of the market, offer strategies for portfolio growth, unlocking capital, and maximizing revenue streams.
