Sherwin’s latest article addresses a new bill for good cause eviction that is currently working its way through Albany. This new law would apply to all rental units and significantly impact an owner’s control over their own property. Owners could be required to perpetually continue a tenancy and lose virtually all control over a property absent a significant tenant breach.
