Landlords have few options and face some tough choices when renters continue to lose jobs in a dormant economy. Unlike many small businesses, landlords don’t qualify for relief provided by the CARES Act. Landlords are still responsible for bills even as evictions are halted until mid-June. It’s unclear if any new bills introduced will provide a pathway for landlords to get relief.
