Tenants at 180 Franklin Avenue filed a lawsuit against Muss Development, claiming the landlord illegally inflated rents. However, the lawsuit was dismissed by a state Supreme Court justice last week. The Muss Development lawyers at Belkin Burden Goldman were thrilled with the ruling. Partner Matthew Brett commended the court for using ‘law and logic’ to decide the case, which he said recognizes both local laws and the rights of citizens.
