About

Anthony Morreale practices in the firm’s administrative law department advising landlords, owners, managers, and developers on a wide array of regulatory issues, with a specialization and focus on Rent Stabilization.

Guided by his past experience as a real estate litigator, Mr. Morreale now concentrates his practice on administrative proceedings before the NY State Division of Housing and Community Renewal and other state and local agencies from inception, through administrative review, and in Article 78 proceedings. He often works closely with the firm’s litigation department in representing clients who face regulatory status challenges and rent overcharge claims in the courts to obtain favorable results.

In addition, Mr. Morreale provides buyers, sellers, and lenders of multifamily assets with careful and up-to-date rent regulatory due diligence and guidance on affordable housing issues.

Immediately prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk in the Housing Part of the New York City Civil Court.
