About
Adam M. Bernstein is a Partner at Belkin · Burden · Goldman, LLP.
Mr. Bernstein practices as trial counsel in the Firm’s Litigation Department, where he regularly appears in the Civil and Supreme Court, handling complex residential and commercial holdover and non-payment proceedings. Adam also has experience representing landlords in appeals and various administrative proceedings before the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal, New York State Division of Human Rights, and New York City Commission on Human Rights.
Prior to joining Belkin Burden & Goldman, Adam also worked in transactional real estate, where he represented buyers, sellers, lenders, and developers in various types of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing and financing. He has also been associated with cases that have been published in the New York Law Journal involving issues of tenancy and succession claims, residential rent overcharge, and deregulation of rent regulated apartments.
