About
Amy Markel Scotto is an attorney in the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group. She represents clients in complex commercial disputes and has experience across all phases of litigation, including trial and appellate practice.
Ms. Scotto has handled a broad range of matters, including securities and complex commercial litigation in New York City. She has also developed significant appellate experience, with matters before the New York State Court of Appeals, the Appellate Division, First and Second Departments, and the Appellate Term.
Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Scotto served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Office of the Queens County District Attorney for eight years handling complex felony investigations and trials.
Ms. Scotto received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, her MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and her B.A. from Marymount Manhattan College. She is admitted to practice in New York, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, The United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
