About
Aris E. L. Dutka joined the litigation department in 2020 and became a partner in 2026. His practice focuses on complex commercial and real estate disputes, including commercial landlord-tenant litigation, appeals, rent regulatory class action defense, construction litigation, and access agreements. He also has significant experience with expert witnesses and electronic discovery, and in arbitration and mediation.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Dutka litigated commercial matters in state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey, with a concentration in construction litigation, in which he represented real estate developers, building owners, government agencies, construction managers, individual unit owners, and subcontractors.
Mr. Dutka is a member of the New York City Bar Association, and serves on the “State Courts of Superior Jurisdiction” Committee.
Mr. Dutka acts as a mentor for the American Bar Association Judicial Intern Opportunity Program, which provides summer judicial internships for law students from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in the legal profession.
