Michael J. Shampan joined the firm as an Associate in 2012 and became partner in 2020.

Mr. Shampan is a partner in the Firm’s Transactional Department. Mr. Shampan specializes in representing purchasers and sellers of condominium and cooperative apartments, brownstones, single and multi-family homes, and commercial properties. He successfully conducts closings in connection with the sale, acquisition and financing of all types of residential and commercial properties. He regularly reviews, negotiates and prepares transactional and financing documents. He also helps represent numerous condominium and cooperative boards.

Mr. Shampan also has significant experience in commercial and residential leasing, regularly reviewing and negotiating residential, retail, office and commercial leases.

In addition, Mr. Shampan has represented numerous clients in drafting and negotiating access and license agreements and commercial constructions agreements.
