Sherwin Belkin Quoted in The Real Deal on the 2019 HSTPA and its Effect on the City’s Pension Fund
Sherwin Belkin, founding partner of Belkin Burden Goldman, LLP, was quoted in Quinn Waller’s The Real Deal article which examines how the negative effects of the Housing Stability and Tenant Protection Act (HSTPA) of 2019 has impacted NYC’s pension fund, which has invested in rent stabilized properties.
Sherwin observes that members of the NYS legislature may be reluctant to acknowledge the overreach of the HSTPA, with reelection as their priority.
