BBG is pleased to sponsor an upcoming AIA Brooklyn program focused on New York City zoning, affordability initiatives, and tax incentive programs, with content tailored to architects working in the city’s evolving regulatory environment.
The program will feature BBG attorneys Ron Mandel, David Shamshovich, and Jason Hershkowitz, who will address key legal and regulatory frameworks impacting project planning and execution. Topics will include recent developments under the City of Yes initiative, the application of Mandatory Inclusionary Housing and the Universal Affordability Preference, and the structure and timing considerations associated with the Uniform Land Use Review Process.
The presentation will also cover tax incentive programs designed to support residential development and the importance of accounting for these measures early in the design process.
The program will be held at FX Collaborative on June 17 and will include a question and answer session.
