About

David Skaller is a retired partner of Belkin · Burden · Goldman, LLP. He joined the firm in 1989 and served as Co-Chair of the Litigation Department.

Mr. Skaller concentrated his practice on non-primary residence claims, succession rights, nuisance proceedings, holdovers, commercial litigation, buyouts, and demolition matters.

Among his notable representations, Mr. Skaller successfully represented the owner in Emil v. Carey, one of the first non-primary residence proceedings in which video recordings were admitted into evidence.

Mr. Skaller lectured at Fordham Law School and participated in mock trials and educational seminars for Housing Court judges and court attorneys.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Skaller expanded his practice to address the evolving legal and regulatory issues affecting both residential and commercial landlord-tenant matters.
